As a Silver Spring photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless special moments for families in our community. But one recent photoshoot stands out in my mind – my session with Askale, former star of The Real Housewives of Potomac, and her newborn baby and two older children.

When Askale reached out to me, I was immediately excited to work with her. I’ve been a fan of the show, and I admire Askale’s strength, resilience, and love for her family. We scheduled the photoshoot in my portrait studio, and I couldn’t wait to meet Askale and her beautiful family.

On the day of the photoshoot, Askale arrived with her three children. They were all so warm and friendly, and it was clear that they have a very close bond. Askale’s newborn baby was especially adorable, and I had a lot of fun capturing the tiny features and precious expressions.

I wanted to create a variety of images that would capture Askale’s family’s personalities and the special bond they share. We took some posed photos, but I also encouraged them to interact with each other and have fun. The results were natural and beautiful, and I think they perfectly capture the love and joy within this family. I’m so glad that I was able to be a part of capturing this special moment in Askale’s family’s life.

As a photographer, it’s always a privilege to be able to capture people’s special moments. But it’s especially meaningful when I get to work with families like Askale’s. Their love and connection are inspiring, and it’s a reminder of what’s truly important in life.
