I first met Adelana when she was almost 40 weeks pregnant. She wanted some maternity photos before she had her baby girl.

As is typical with later winter/early spring weather in Maryland, you can’t always do outdoor photoshoots when you originally planned. The first date we picked for her photo shoot was no different. It rained. Having to reschedule, and getting closer to her due date, we were lucky to get a good day in at Glenview Mansion, before Adelana delivered.

We had an amazing maternity photo shoot, where Adelana was the star, in her final days before becoming a mom. The red dress she wore was so elegant and hugged her baby belly beautifully.  The mansion was such a luxurious setting, as well.

On March 10, Eniola was born. She weighed 7 lbs 2 ounces. As is the norm with newborn photography, we schedule a photo shoot in the first two weeks after the baby’s birth.

Adelana wanted her daughter photographed with pink and mint colors. This was perfect for the March 23 photo shoot; the first week of Spring. Eniola looked adorable bundled up in a mint green wrap with a tiny flower headband. It was truly a joyous day.
