When Kia contacted me back in September 2018 for her maternity and newborn photo session I was beyond elated. Then, she told me she was expecting twin boys and that even got me more excited. We went over outfit choices via email and I sent her a few samples. Then she chose a gorgeous yellow outfit with a train which I had to just order specifically for her session. In November, we met at the Fells Point In Baltimore and Kia had the opportunity to try on the dress for the first time. She came out of the restroom and it looked like the dressed was carved and made exactly on her body. It was so beautiful that I got super excited to shoot.

As soon as we began the shoot, I noticed it was going to be windy. that helped us a bit as it made us have a nice, flowy gown to photograph. However, I couldn’t keep he rout for so long so as soon as we were done outside, we took the rest of the shoot into the iconic Sagamore Pnedry Hotel. The red stairs at this hotel has been a favorite of every tourist in Maryland lately so I just had to take a few of Kia on it.
